My three years of cricket consumption has been mostly as in-between meals. I have had about a bar every other day in on-the-go-situations or mixed in a breakfast bowl. I do breakfasts with cricket hard bread and my late night eggs are often based on a cricket hard bread.
THE NEXT LEVEL for me is to have crickets in my main meals. I imagine sprinkling whole roasted crickets on tacos, pad thai and chilis. It would take crickets from being a protein adder to also enhance the course taste and texture-wise.
I am also a firm believer in the idea that you should only eat things that you can face. If I cant eat something while looking it in the eye I should not eat it. I often have friends over for dinner and it would be such a thrill to make them a genuine cricket meal.
